Activity 6.1.1 Further develop and implement activities under WP5, including a second series of workshops and webinars (T5.1, 5.3) to address remaining FNSSA agenda issues and define potential development pathways for food system transformation in PANAP regions Activity 6.1.2 Operationalize the Science-Policy Interface Living Lab (SPI LL) by prioritizing key steps and facilitating exchanges among stakeholders to promote understanding of food system transformation pathways, translating Research and Innovation (R&I) into tangible deliverables, and iteratively monitoring and revising the agenda based on feedback Activity 6.1.3 Organize follow-up roundtable(s) with donors to broaden interaction, build consensus on improving R&I related to food systems, and enhance the Science-Policy Interface (SPI) interface. Activity 6.1.4 Organize open or closed policy dialogues, strengthening collaboration, including EU-Africa and Africa-UN RBAs, and focusing on economic analysis of agri-food systems and R&I. Activity 6.1.5 Collaborate with a sister CSA responding to the call “implementation of a sustainable platform for the EU-African Union cooperation (HORIZON-CL6-2023-FARM2FORK-01-18),” organizing a side event at the High-Level Policy Dialogue Senior Official Meeting to jointly reach out to policymakers, promote the PANAP network, facilitate policy dialogue, and foster exchanges among CSAs. Activity 6.2.1 Improve independent evidence-based scientific advice for policy development, impact assessments, and implementation, with a specific focus on addressing the needs of participating researchers and decision makers. Activity 6.2.2. Adapt support for researchers and decision makers, particularly in shaping the post-2026 FNSSA agenda, based on feedback and evolving requirements. Activity 6.2.3 Select up to 4 additional PANAP members through a second call for proposals and provide support through in-person workshops and regular virtual meetings for discussion and feedback. Activity 6.2.4 Potentially lead to joint publications of the results, fostering collaborative efforts and knowledge dissemination. Activity 6.2.5 Identify, document, and derive best practice examples from case studies of projects and initiatives where multiple stakeholders work together to enhance the food, agriculture, and nutrition situation in African countries.
