Join PANAP for a free webinar exploring how farm-level, agent-based and economy-wide modelling can support climate adaptation and infrastructure development policy analysis in Ethiopia.
The session will feature two presentations. Samuel Elias Kayamo and Christian Troost from the University of Hohenheim will discuss the potential benefits of seasonal precipitation forecasts for farmers’ crop management decisions, drawing on farm-level and agent-based modelling in Ethiopia. Simon Ehjeij, also from the University of Hohenheim, will present insights from a computable general equilibrium model on the economy-wide effects of irrigation expansion in Ethiopia. Each presentation will be followed by a dedicated Q&A session.
